There was almost always an available washer/dryer in the laundry room, however, some of the machines were broken or held together with tape. The gym is smaller but also nice (2 people is about the most that can comfortably workout together, but there was never a time that it was unavailable). Some of the building is a bit older but seems like they are in the process of making updates over time. It's close to the L and Metra trains and a short bike ride, bus ride, or drive to Northwestern University.
The building is in a very convenient location within Evanston. I would easily give her 5 stars- the maintenance team is really friendly and helpful as well. She follows through with what she says she will do and has been really helpful.
She communicates what is happening with the building and tenants in a timely fashion. She is very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. The staff here is exceptional and I have seen them all go above and beyond in our two weeks here.Property Manager Tammi has been especially great. All and all if we can’t be in our own home we are very happy to be here with the team at Staybridge. The only negative is the TVs which don’t have the option for any personal subscription channels to be streamed on them. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and the new rooms are very well done. The staff has also been helpful at shutting down some of the late night basketball games to allow for quiet after 10-11pm. My teens have enjoyed the spaces and the balls provided. As is the courtyard and basketball court. Early on Jennie on the housekeeping team introduced herself to us and made sure to know we could ask for anything we needed. In addition, Andrew and Anthony in the evening are super helpful and friendly. The front desk staff is also exceptional, I don’t know the names of the ladies in the day but they have been great. The M-W HH and apps is an amazing perk and Marta does a fantastic job making it feel like a family gathering welcoming everyone to the “living room”. Breakfast is typical of a hotel breakfast, but Jody makes it great with her welcoming smile each weekday morning and the young women’s on the weekends has been great too. All three rooms have been very clean and comfortable. We were initially in two rooms until a larger room was available. The staff had gone out of their way to make sure we have what we need. We had a fire in our home and are here while repairs are being made. We have been here two weeks and couldn’t say nicer things about the property and the staff. 5 mi E, Mall of America 30 mi SE, Downtown St. Albertville Premium Outlets 15 mi W, Cabela's 8 mi W, Dave and Busters. Local companies located near our hotel include Abbott, BAE Systems, Boston Scientific, Caterpillar, Cargill, Prudential, Medtronic, OSI, and Upsher-Smith. This extended stay hotel is nestled in the upscale Arbor Lakes Shopping District with numerous nearby shops, restaurants and grocery within walking distance. This apartment style hotel offers comfortable, spacious rooms with the added benefit of in-room kitchens giving you that home away from home feel.
